May play an important role in the bioavailability of dietary pteroylpolyglutamates and in the metabolism of pteroylpolyglutamates and antifolates. Exhibits either endo- or exopeptidase activity depending upon the tissue of origin. When secreted, it acts primarily as an endopeptidase (By similarity). | ||
